Global translation services provider has an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager.

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be the primary point of contact for a diverse range of clients in the UK and overseas. Working for legal, e-learning, insurance, financial, energy, defence, PR and other commercial and business sectors,you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and timely management of a project’s full life cycle.

Specific responsibilities will include:

Co-ordinating and overseeing all stages of a project from initial receipt of request through to delivery of the project to the client. Tasks include price and delivery schedule quotation, entering and processing orders through the workflow management system, translator and Production team liaison and document correction before delivery to the client.

You will also communicate and interact with other members of the division and company (Project Managers, Divisional Management, Desktop Publishing & Engineering team, Production team) ensuring projects are signed off on a timely basis and passed to the Invoicing Department

The successful candidate will have a strong customer service focus, excellent organisational and time management skills, the ability to prioritise and multi-task and to work under pressure.

You will have English mother tongue with a language to degree level or European mother tongue, educated to degree level with a native standard of English. Additionally you will have attention to detail, strong written and oral communication skills and previous client service experience.

The starting salary for this position is £22,000 per annum. Benefits include 22 days’ holiday (rising with length of service), 3% contributory pension scheme, life assurance, private medical insurance, discounted gym membership, a Cycle2Work scheme and free shuttle bus from local train station.
