Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team in Monart Destination Spa. This challenging role requires a self-motivated, flexible individual. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of human resources management including recruitment, staff development, employee relations, compliance, disciplinary and grievance issues. This role requires flexible hours in order to meet the business needs, ideally 5 days per week.

- Management of the HR function with responsibility for the implementation and delivery of the day to day HR operation
- Ensure legal compliance in regard to employment law and company policies and procedures
- Provide advice and guidance to Heads of Department in relation to managing and developing our people in line with company policies and procedures
- Ensure the recruitment and selection process is successful in attracting the best calibre candidates for each vacancy
- Assess training and development needs across the company and ensure all employees receive appropriate development
- Support employees on day to day queries
- Conduct, as appropriate, relevant stages of the disciplinary and grievance hearings in strict accordance to company policy and handbook
- Pro-actively encourage a strong customer care culture
- Ensure policies and procedures comply with best practice and employment legislation
- Liaise with Group HR on the implementation of strategic policies
Qualifications and Experience:
- CIPD qualified with a minimum of 5 years' human resources management experience
- Highly motivated with the gravitas and maturity to work at all levels within the company
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to negotiate and influence
- Ability to deal sensitively and appropriately with confidential information
- Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and manage your time effectively
- Demonstrated ability to identify and problem solve issues
- Demonstrate a passion for HR and proven experience of adding value to the company
- A relevant third level qualification will be an advantage
- Previous hotel experience will be an advantage
- Eligible to work in Ireland
