Resort Sales & Marketing Manager

An exciting and challenging role for an individual who will be joining a progressive and dynamic team focused on achieving key successes within the hospitality industry. Key responsibilities for the role include:

  • Achieve marketing and sales objectives; 
  • To develop and manage the sales team to set and achieve and deliver budgetary targets; 
  • Design, execute and evaluate long term and short-term integrated marketing and sales campaigns; 
  • Identifies and maximise sales and marketing opportunities; 
  • Improves product marketability and profitability;
  • Advise and develop strategies on media and public relations, advertising, external communications as well as market and guest research; 
  • Ongoing management of digital marketing and social media presence and continual development of the company website. 


Desired Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years experience at Senior Sales and Marketing Management level and will have a proven track record in their ability to manage and lead high performance sales and marketing team, working closely with the revenue generating teams to ensure a profitable and sustainable business.

They ideal candidate will also hold a recognised qualification in Sales and Marketing and have a thorough knowledge of digital marketing and social media with experience in strategic management, managing budgets effectively and financial reporting. 



Duty Manager

 
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Candidate must have held a duty management position for a minimum of 2 years within a similar busy hotel/resort environment;
  • Strong food and beverage, and conference and banqueting background essential;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Knowledge of Fidelio system essential;
  • Own transport essential.
  • Be standard driven;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Reliability and enthusiasm.

The Role:
Working with the team in delivery excellent guest care, ensuring that there are actively on the floor anticipating the business and managing accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to:

  • Ensure a professional, friendly and courteous service to all guests;
  • To ensure that guests are warmly welcomed and are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner;
  • Ensuring that service is delivered in accordance with agreed standards throughout the resort;
  • To be familiar with Resort product offering (i.e. the menu, beverages, wine list, etc.);
  • To ensure the all areas are properly prepared and set-up prior to and after service.
  • To carry out cash handling procedures in accordance with Company policy;
  • Work varying shifts;
  • Conduct routine security checks of the property with appropriate action taken;
  • To liaise with and assist in departments as required.
